According to La Repubblica, United are prepared to pay £26million for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic this summer.

Arch-rivals Liverpool were heavily linked with a move for the Croatian last year, only to eventually opt to sign Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich.

Now it is believed United want to bring Brozovic to the Premier League, although they are likely to face competition from Barcelona in the race for his signature.
