Manchester City have become strong contenders to sign Rodrygo

Manchester City have become strong contenders to sign Rodrygo, joining Arsenal in pursuit of the Real Madrid forward. The Brazilian is weighing his future after talks with Madrid’s new manager, hoping to fight for his place but open to a move if a big offer arrives. Arsenal were linked with a loan deal, though its viability is unclear, and City’s interest has intensified.

According to Football London, City are negotiating Savinho’s sale to Tottenham and have lost Jack Grealish, creating a need for attacking reinforcements. Rodrygo is seen as a prime target, and a switch to the Etihad could appeal if Pep Guardiola offers a key role. With their financial muscle and recent success, City may hold an advantage over Arsenal should they push for a deal, leaving Madrid to decide whether to cash in on the winger.
