Manchester City's 2-1 win over Fulham

Tim Ream, will likely miss the remainder of the season after breaking his arm during Sunday's 2-1 loss to Manchester City. Whites midfielder Andreas Pereira and Ream were both brought to the hospital during the game. Pereira, a former Manchester United player, suffered an ankle injury during his team's gutsy performance against City, who are currently leading the Premier League after their eighth straight victory.

Erling Haaland's first-minute penalty conversion gave City the advantage, but Carlos Vinicius gave Fulham the lead back. But Alvarez's outstanding goal nine minutes before halftime gave Pep Guardiola's team the three points, moving them ahead of Arsenal on the standings. Aleksandar Mitrovic, who was already suspended for another two games, will now be joined by two more crucial players when Fulham travels to Anfield to take on Liverpool on Wednesday.
