United had almost lost to Sheffield United but they came back from behind to secure a 3-2 finish in their Premier League match at Bramall Lane. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not impressed with his side’s performance during the night having the dead last placed team beat them at Premier League would have been an embarrassing loss for the Red Devils.
Dean Henderson handed his former side the opening goal on a silver platter, David McGoldrick took advantage of his mistake and opened the score for Sheffield in 5 minutes. Marcus Rashford later fired twice to in the 26th and 51st minute to have Red Devils dominate the match from thereon. In between Rashford’s goal Anthony Martial also struck home once in the 33rd minute to secure their three points to place 6th on the table. McGoldrick in the 87th minute scored his second goal in an attempt to reduce the lead and force a draw by failed to score after that.
