According to reports from Argentina, Gallardo will officially leave his position next week, marking the end of a new phase in his career with the club he has been associated with for many years and with which he achieved numerous successes.
In contrast, the River Plate board of directors has begun to move quickly to find a suitable replacement, considering reaching out to Eduardo Coudet, the current coach of Deportivo Alavés, as one of the leading options to lead the team in the upcoming phase.
