Despite weeks of negotiations, it has now been revealed that Mariano Troilo, a defender for Belgrano, will be joining Parma in Serie A for €7 million, taking Giovanni Leoni's place. Due to Liverpool's €31 million purchase of Leoni and an additional €4 million in add-ons, the events of the past 48 hours have completely changed the Serie A transfer market.
Due to their huge financial boost and the fact that Parma required a replacement, they were able to make a move for Troilo. Pisa had been connected to the 22-year-old for a while, but the recently promoted team was unable to make the trade work. According to Sky Sport Italia, Pisa had reached an agreement for €4 million plus a whopping 50% of the eventual sale price. In June 2026, Pisa would have the option to purchase the remaining 50% of his contract.
