Marquinhos' future is still up in the air

Marquinhos' future is still up in the air since, according to a recent article by L'Équipe, there are growing worries at PSG that he would leave the team even though his contract is set to expire in June 2028. The Brazilian international is also said to be enticed by the possibility of moving to Saudi Arabia, where he may receive a huge offer. Given that the capital club is adding young players to its backline, Marquinhos' exit wouldn't be shocking.

PSG has signed Lucas Beraldo and Willian Pacho in the previous two transfer windows, and if Marquinhos does depart, the French team will need to look for a centre-back this summer if they haven't already. To replace Marquinhos, PSG could turn to a former AJ Auxerre standout. According to Il Corriere dello Sport (h/t Le10Sport), Evan Ndicka is a highly rated player by the Paris club.
