Marseille came from behind to beat Lyon 3-2

Due to Jonathan Rowe's winning goal in the 95th minute, Marseille was down to 10 men early in the encounter on Sunday and overcame to defeat Lyon 3-2 away from home. The outcome put Roberto De Zerbi's team back in second place in Ligue 1, tied with Paris Saint-Germain on 13 points but with a worse goal differential. A tumultuous 'Olympico' derby with late goals and an early red card saw Lyon take the lead through former Marseille defender Duje Caleta-Car. With less than ten minutes left, Ulisses Garcia gave Marseille the lead after Pol Lirola had tied the score.

In the third minute of additional time, Rayan Cherki appeared to have given Lyon a draw, but two minutes later, Rowe piledriven a winner for Marseille from the edge of the box.
