Marseille defeated Brest 4-1

Amine Gouiri put on an incredible display, scoring three of his team's four goals, including a superb overhead kick, as Marseille defeated Brest 4-1 to move up to second place in the Ligue 1 rankings. Roberto De Zerbi's team has found its form at the most critical time, with just three games remaining in the season. They recovered from a difficult run that includes five losses in eight games with their victory at the Stade Vélodrome, which was their second straight victory.

Following a long pass from Luis Henrique, Gouiri opened the score with a crisp finish from a close angle. In the 25th minute, Abdallah Sima gave Brest, who were now in ninth place and outside of the European spots, a short equaliser. Mason Greenwood gave Marseille the lead again just before halftime with an assist from Adrien Rabiot.
