Olympique Marseille continued their revival, sweeping aside Angers SCO 5-2 away from home to record a second consecutive victory under Bruno Genesio.

The visitors initially struggled after Lilian Raolisoa gave Angers the lead in the 14th minute. However, Marseille responded strongly after the half-hour mark, with Abdelli and Kamissoko finding the net to turn the game around.

Amine Gouiri extended the visitors’ advantage after the interval, making it 3-1 and strengthening Marseille’s control of the contest.

Angers briefly threatened a comeback when El Ouazzani converted a penalty, but Marseille quickly restored their cushion through Harit and Igor Paixao, sealing an impressive five-goal performance.

The result offers renewed optimism following a turbulent spell for the French side. While questions about consistency remain, back-to-back wins provide Genesio with valuable momentum as Marseille look to rebuild confidence and maintain their progress in the league.
