Mason Greenwood wins Ligue 1 Player of the Month award

Olympique de Marseille striker Mason Greenwood (24) has won the Ligue 1 Player of the Month award for October, the UNFP , Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels, the players’ union , has revealed this Sunday.
Greenwood logs five Ligue 1 goals last month, including four during Marseille’s 6-2 win against Le Havre.
This is the second time that Greenwood receives a Ligue 1 Player of the Month award since his transfer from Manchester United in the summer of 2024. The England international has logged 31 goals and ten assists in 51 games played with OM. Greenwood notably beat competition from Strasbourg’s Joaquin Panichelli and OGC Nice’s Sofiane Diop to succeed Lens’ Florian Thauvin as Ligue 1’s Player of the Month.
