Maxwell compares Aguero with Romario

This statement has been said before already, both players are short, they both use their potent legs to dribble and they both have that spark inside a reduced space that turns them into unstoppable goal scoring machines. They are both South American and both have been stars in the teams they've played in. Brazilian Romario and Sergio 'Kun' Aguero are two of football's most similar players. The also Brazilian left back Maxwell, spoke about Aguero before facing him next Wednesday in the Champions League and gave him the highest praise possible.

"Aguero is a magnificent player. I love his style. He is like Romario, small and powerful. We must not leave spaces. Manchester City's results have not been good against big teams, but that is not a reason to be optimistic. It's dangerous to think like that. We respect them, we know they can beat us. But we are confident we have the qualities to go through. My old clubs had more history in this competition. Here is a young project. But the goal is to win the Champions League someday, obviously."

Next Wednesday, City will play in Paris at the Parc des Princes stadium in what will be the real wild card of the Champions League quarter-finals because no one is really aware of which team is favorite to win this match. Both of them are set to win a treble this year if they win all competition, and both of them have some of the most impressive rosters in football today. Their income is directly from billionaires that decided to buy a club and inject it with loads of cash to coexist with the real football giant clubs with more tradition such as Barcelona, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.
