Toro all-but-set up a Europa League playoff with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday as the Premier League side beat Armenian side Pyunik 4-0 with four away goals.

However, Mazzarri warned after the first leg with the Belarussians: “We can’t even bear to think about Wolves right now. You never know in football. We were naïve at 2-0 and almost went 2-1 down, so we have to stay focused, even after the 5-0, if we want to avoid embarrassing ourselves. Many of the lads dropped off in the second half and we could’ve paid for that against other teams".

Nonetheless, the former Watford boss was delighted with the overall progress his squad had made.

“Seven or eight months ago, these players looked different. We’ve improved a lot and we’ll see where we end up this season. I’m not setting any limits".
