Messi might leave Barcelona in 2018

Every single player gets eventually tired, for Leo Messi, having so much scrutiny on his shoulders from the IRS and having won literally everything he can win with the club is more than enough reason for him to look for new challenges in another country. It's still unclear where he might play after Barcelona, but Leo Messi's love story with the Catalan club will apparently come to an end right before the Russia World Cup in 2018.

The Argentine doesn't have any motivation left to remain with the club, two more seasons will be gone and maybe some more chances of winning more titles with Barcelona. His amazing chemistry with Luis Suarez and Neymar will last until then. This news have of course been debunked by all Catalan news outlets, they are convinced that the club will convince Messi to remain in the club for a longer time but Marca is adamant on the player leaving. The most likely destinations could be Manchester City, Manchester United and even Newell's Old Boys from Argentina.

One of his first teammates and captains, Carles Puyol, spoke to I am Naples about Leo: "Messi does things with the ball that nobody can. He has been playing at an incredible level for 10 years, which has led him to be the best in history. Messi, [Luis] Suarez and Neymar are wonderful. It's difficult to find three players of the same calibre in the same club."
