Lionel Messi is reportedly on the verge of becoming the full owner of Eldense, with Spanish outlet AS claiming he has reached a preliminary agreement to acquire 100% of the club’s shares. The Segunda División side recently returned to Liga 2 after earning direct promotion by winning the Primera RFEF, and negotiations between Messi’s legal team and current owners TH Soluciones Group S.A.S., led by Juan Carlos Trujillo, are said to be in their final stages.
Although the deal is not yet official, both parties are believed to be ironing out the last financial details, bringing the operation close to completion. Messi already owns Cornella, but securing Eldense would make him the proprietor of a professional club for the first time.
An announcement could arrive soon, and if confirmed, Spanish football would welcome Messi not only as a global icon but as a new club owner ready to shape Eldense’s future.
