Michel is taking Girona's situation in his stride

Spanish coach Michel has become one of La Liga's great coaches after leading Girona to the top spot on matchday 16.

Girona boss Michel urged his players to remain humble despite their recent success in La Liga in an interview with 'Marca'. "We are in the spotlight but we have to keep our feet on the ground," he said.

He knows that the La Liga title could be close but that it is still a utopia. His main objective is to stay in the European places in order to play in European competitions next campaign.

Michel is obviously not ruling out a future at Manchester City, but he is now focused on "making history" with his Girona side. "This is not the time to talk about winning La Liga, but it is the time to say that we can aspire to Europe
