Mikayil Faye attracting attention

Arriving from NK Kustosija in the Croatian second division last summer for €1.7 million, the 19-year-old Mikayil Faye has already made an impression, showcasing his technical skill and quickness. They appear to think highly of the Blaugrana, who reportedly rejected a €9 million approach from RC Lens in January, but their determination will probably be put to the test once more.

Fabrizio Romano told Caught Offside that Lens is still interested, as are Ajax, Girona, and OGC Nice. The Blaugrana have a lot of quality right now, especially in center defense, which may account for their apparent strong interest in Faye. Apart from the starting lineup consisting of Inigo Martinez, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, Jules Kounde, and Pau Cubarsi, returning from loan agreements are players like Eric Garcia and Clement Lenglet.
