La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that Milan are convinced they have made some important progress in a move for Rabiot. This is because after initial talks with Veronique Rabiot on Friday, further discussions were held on Saturday and things seem to be going in the right direction.
Marseille have signed Arthur Vermeeren from RB Leipzig and this is seen as a step from them to exclude Rabiot, who can spend a season on the sidelines if he doesn’t find a new club after his relationship with Mehdi Benatia completely broke down.
Marseille are demanding a fee of €15 million and haven’t budged from it, with Rabiot looking for a wage of over €5 million per season.
