Negotiations for the renewal of English defender Fikayo Tomori's contract with AC Milan are progressing quickly and positively. The Italian club is keen to secure the services of one of the key pillars of its defense for the long term.

The report indicated that the prevailing atmosphere between the AC Milan management and the player's representatives is moving towards a complete understanding regarding the main terms of the new deal.

It is expected that the next few weeks will see a near-final resolution of the agreement between the two parties.

A formal agreement regarding the anticipated extension may be reached in late December, thus putting an end to any speculation about the future of the former Chelsea defender.
