Milan beat Lazio 2-0

AC Milan jumped to the top of Serie A with a dominant 2-0 victory against Lazio. Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor of Milan both scored goals, in significant measure due to Rafael Leao's crucial performance. On the hour mark, Pulisic scored after converting a feed from Leao with a strong half-volley. In the 88th minute, Leao kept up his impressive play, giving Okafor the chance to easily double Milan's advantage.

Milan had earned 18 points from its first seven games, three more than city rival Inter Milan, who hadn't yet played Salernitana that day. Lazio, on the other hand, has just seven points and is now in 14th position. Ivan Provedel, the Lazio goalkeeper, made some outstanding saves during the game to keep his team in the game till the very end. A late consolation goal by Lazio was disallowed for offside.
