Milan bringing Zlatan Ibrahimovic back

At the conclusion of the previous campaign, the former striker decided to hang up his boots and retire following a last season beset by injury problems. He had a great second stint with Milan and was a major contributor to their 2021–2022 Scudetto victory. Milan has been in frequent communication with Ibrahimovic in recent weeks, attempting to entice him back to the team in a backstage capacity, as they feel his contributions and presence might be crucial to the project's success under Stefano Pioli.

The former director of Juventus went on to talk about Milan's efforts to get Ibrahimovic back and the potential role he may play alongside Pioli as coach. "I don't know anything about it, but if Milan considered him for a position that might not exist right now, I believe it's a wise, responsible, and ideal decision. Just take a look at Zlatan's career and where it has taken him; he is an amazing man.
