Monaco exploring options to appoint new head coach

According to a report from specialized press, Monaco are exploring options ahead of potentially appointing a new head coach. Press reports that current manager Adi Hütter could be sacked during the upcoming international break in October.

Les Monégasques started the season positively and found themselves at the top of the league after 4 matches in Ligue 1. However, things have soured recently, and results haven’t been as positive as they were at the start of the season. The principality club were comfortably beaten by newly promoted Lorient and failed to beat their local rivals Nice despite having a man advantage.

Despite two disappointing domestic results, Hütter did claim one scalp in the UEFA Champions League as Monaco drew 2-2 with Manchester City. Nevertheless, the higher-up’s at the Stade Louis II seem to believe a change may be needed in the dressing room and are considering the German’s future.
