Monza defeats Lazio thanks to two goals from Đurić

Monza defeated Lazio 2-2 in Serie A on Saturday, with Milan Đurić scoring twice, including a stoppage-time equalizer, to deny the capital club's hopes of making it into the Champions League for the following season. Lazio's four-game winning streak came to an end as a result, and Igor Tudor's team was now in seventh place, three points behind Roma, who is in fifth place and the final Champions League qualifying berth after Italy was awarded an additional spot in the league for the following season. Sixth position Despite having played two fewer games than Lazio, Atalanta is only one point ahead of them.

Ciro Immobile opened the score for Lazio and put them in the lead but in the 73rd, Đurić scored off a rebound to level the score. After 10 minutes, Matías Vecino gave Lazio the lead again. Nevertheless, in the second minute of stoppage time, Đurić headed in Matteo Pessina's cross.
