Manchester United will need pretty much every single player they can use in the back half of the season, injuries tend to betray even the best teams in the world and some of the best players. That's why talking about letting any player leave during the winter, is a taboo subject for Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, the press recently asked him about youngster Scheiderlin and a possible exit on a loan.
Mourinho has a clear idea: "Johnstone is the only player that I will allow to go on loan because he doesn't play one single minute, he needs to play. That is the only loan move we are going to do. I don't want to sell players. The club and board are totally with me. But as I said before, if a player is not having lots of minutes and if a player really wants to leave we have no right to stop the player to leave if the conditions are our conditions. In this moment, we have not received one single offer that we are going to accept."
What he can absolutely expect, is maybe trying to get a transfer during the winter, because Jose Mourinho considers the club lacks defensive players that can help the club out during such a complicated part of the tournament.
