Muslera is waiting for a duel against Messi

This Thursday evening in Argentina, the national team will get a very special visit from the Uruguay national team. It wasn't clear if Leo Messi was going to be present in this match due to some physical problems he had, but at the end manager Edgardo Bauza confirmed his presence in the match. This was great news for all the Uruguay players, who much rather play against a fully capable Argentina side than a squad without their best player.

Talking to reporters at Montevideo airport before traveling to Mendoza, Muslera said: "For us, to play against a player like Messi is beautiful. To share the pitch with players like Messi, but not only him – Luis [Suarez] too, Edi [Cavani] are top players. It is nice, very enjoyable and also makes the match more exciting. It's pretty obvious that they will try to get to my goal and it will be important that I have a good night, but they also have to be aware of our strikers," he added.

Argentina and Uruguay start their match this Thursday afternoon in one of the last World Cup qualifying matches of the day. Lionel Messi marks his return after a short-lived retirement which he made public after losing the last Copa America final against Chile. This time, all of the Argentinean people will be rooting for their idol against Uruguay in the city of Mendoza.
