Nacho has been at Real Madrid all his life and that is not going to change. The youth academy player seemed to be close to leaving the club with the arrival of Antonio Rudiger this summer, but Carlo Ancelotti lined him up as a starter against Almeria. Adding this to the role he gave him last season, the newspaper 'Marca' considers his continuity in the 'Merengue' team as a given.
About a month ago, he was rumoured to be on the move to Jose Mourinho's Roma as an alternative to the tough competition at the Santiago Bernabéu, but he passed the first round with flying colours.
