Napoli make Bakayoko approach

According to Tuttosport, Chelsea are open to selling the 26-year-old on loan with option to buy. Gennaro Gattuso wants to sign a new centre midfielder to switch to a 4-2-3-1 formation and know Bakayoko very well having coached him at Milan.

The Rossoneri had also been linked with a move for the French midfielder but the deal with the Rossoneri has been put on hold.

As per Sportitalia, Herta Berlin and PSG have also been chasing Bakayoko who is however willing to return to Serie A and play under his former manager.

The Partenopei can close the deal as soon as Arkadiusz Milik leaves the club. Tuttosport states the Poland striker is close to joining Fiorentina on a € 5 million loan deal with an option to buy in the region of € 25 million. The Polish ace would need to sign a one-year contract extension ahead of joining the Artemio Franchi side with that formula as his current deal at Napoli expires on June 2021.
