Barcelona goalkeeper Neto is currently involved in negotiations with Napoli and in the move to lure the player over to the Serie A side, the team offered to pay €2 million per year to the player. The goalkeeper is keen on leaving Camp Nou this summer but is still not swayed by the big number, he seems to be holding out for more from Napoli. The Brazilian international is seeking an additional €300,000 from Partenopei. Neto joined Barca in 2019 leaving behind Valencia for more play time and a chance to rise among the ranks at one of the top European clubs.
Unfortunately for the 33-year-old, his struggle at Barcelona did not end and he could not compete with the team’s first choice between the pole- Marc-Andre ter Stegen. After Inaki Pena joined the side, Barcelona finally caved to Neto’s demands of departure and has since been involved in negotiations with multiple teams.
