Napoli were held to a 0-0 home draw by Lecce

The winners of the previous campaign, Napoli, came in 10th position with 53 points, level with Torino in tenth, who lost 3-0 at Atalanta in a Sunday kickoff match. Even though they lost, Torino may still qualify for the Europa Conference League playoffs if Fiorentina, who are now in eighth position and have a game remaining, triumph. Napoli needed to win to keep their hopes of qualifying for Europe alive, but even with 24 shots—five of which were on goal—they concluded their disastrous campaign with no wins in their final seven games.

Just after the half, substitute Cyril Ngonge had a wonderful opportunity to put Napoli ahead, but Lecce goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone stopped his effort from the edge of the box. Soon after, in the 64th minute, Ngonge struck the bar, and Jens Cajuste missed the far post with a low shot.
