According to a Brazilian rumour, Nottingham Forest is one of the teams vying for Lyon custodian Lucas Perri this summer. The 27-year-old joined the Ligue 1 team in January 2024 after leaving Botafogo, and he has since been their starting custodian. In 45 appearances, he let up 60 goals and maintained 13 clean sheets.
Nottingham Forest and AC Milan have taken notice of Perri's efforts for the French team. According to UOL, both the Reds and the Serie A team are interested in the Brazilian, who is "on the rise" at Lyon. The San Siro's first-choice goalie, Mike Maignan, is under contract through 2026. His future is still up in the air, and the Rossoneri have named Perri as one of their replacement choices. In the meanwhile, Nottingham Forest is now selling Matt Turner, its goalie, to Lyon. The South American has been touted as a target in their quest to sign a new stopper.
