After Nottingham Forest defeated the past European Cup champions and moved up into the Champions League spots with two late goals from Nikola Milenkovic and Anthony Elanga, Nuno Espírito Santo urged fans to raise a drink to this "special" triumph.
Forest overcame a deficit following Jhon Durán's third goal in a week for Aston Villa, who had been winless in their past five league games following Champions League games, to tie their best start to a season since 1994–95. Right now, Forest, who are commemorating their 5,000th league game, may claim fourth place—at least until Sunday afternoon, when Manchester City takes on Manchester United.
