Nottingham Forest overcame Crystal Palace 1-0

Oliver Glasner's Crystal Palace team lost 1-0 against Nottingham Forest on Monday, extending their horrific winless start to the Premier League season to eight games.Palace had a disastrous start to the 2024–25 season, managing just three points from eight games, following an amazing run of form at the conclusion of the 2023–24 season that saw them win six of their final seven games.

However, they got off to a good start at the City Ground, as Eddie Nketiah forced a save from Matz Sels before putting a shot from 25 yards that clipped the outside of the post. Eberechi Eze also missed a long-range goal that would have opened the score by inches. After Elliot Anderson darted in and out of the box, beating three players before having his attempt blocked, Ryan Yates hit the base of the post with a header as Forest quickly recovered.
