Nottingham Forest set their sight on Jizz Hornkamp

The newly promoted Premier League side has been working hard at strengthening their squad for the grueling season that lays ahead of them. They have already brought in a number of players this summer including well-known names like Taiwo Awoniyi who was signed at a club-record deal of £17.5m. Steve Cooper is now considering bringing in another frontline reinforcement and has landed on Jizz Hornkamp.

The plan is to replace Lewis Grabban and Keinan Davis after their poor efforts last season in the Championship campaign but the Dutchman even after scoring nine goals in 31 appearances would be an upgrade at City Ground. In the 2020/21 season though the player scored 20 goals in all competitions which includes his more impressive feat of four goals in 34 minutes against Excelsior in January 2021 which ended in a 4-4 draw. Willem II was relegated last season thus the player might jump at the chance to join Nottingham Forest.
