Nottingham Forest are working on a deal to sign Bologna winger Dan Ndoye as a replacement for Anthony Elanga, who recently joined Newcastle for £55m. Ndoye, a Switzerland international with 22 caps, scored eight goals in Serie A last season and also featured in the Champions League. Though Napoli are interested, the 23-year-old is eager to test himself in the Premier League. Forest had previously shown interest in Johan Bakayoko, but he chose a move to RB Leipzig.
Ndoye began his career at Lausanne, had a brief spell at Nice, and revived his career in Switzerland before moving to Bologna in 2023. Forest are also monitoring Manchester City midfielder James McAtee. While interested, they are hesitant to meet City’s £35m asking price, which has risen from an initial £25m valuation earlier this summer.
