Filling Zlatan Ibrahimovic's void looks nearly impossible. After the Swedish striker left, Paris Saint-Germain was looking to sign a star player who could attempt to do that. They failed to sign Neymar after many attempts, they also failed to sign Cristiano Ronaldo who is very happy at Real Madrid. But there was a small number of underrated players who could make the cut and get signed by the French giants, at the top of that short list you had Hatem Ben Arfa.
A winger with some of the most insane dribbling skills in the world, in par with the skill that players such as Neymar and Messi have but with fewer media impact. The French club announced his arrival this Friday via their website: "Paris St Germain is happy to announce the signing of forward Hatem Ben Arfa on a two-year contract, tying him to the club until 30 June 2018."
The player has already signed his contract and was given a tour of the club's facilities, he is very excited for this new adventure and expects to be important for Unai Emery's new club: "Signing with Paris Saint-Germain is a very happy and a proud moment. Paris Saint-Germain has always been a very special team for me, so to wear this jersey at the Parc des Princes is a childhood dream. I'd like to thank Nice, who enabled me to find pleasure in playing football again and to show the French public what I'm capable of on the pitch."
