Olsson tips Ibrahimovic to become the next Cantona

It's been a long time since we've had a showman taking care of business at Manchester United, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be the next showman to wow the world in all of England. Cristiano Ronaldo may have been a truly spectacular player during his time with the Red Devils, but there is no better showman than French genius Eric Cantona. His repeated antics and incredible talent were the best part of the nineties decade in English football by far.

Now that Zlatan has arrived, England needs to get ready to get a new version of this kind of goal scoring showman who will have everybody on the edge of their seats. The kind of goals he can score are the kind of goals this country is craving in their league, for compatriot and fellow veteran Jonas Olsson, Zlatan is the man to fill that void that Cantona left so long ago.

Talking to the press, the West Brom defender said: "Zlatan thought twice before he signed for Manchester United. We texted a little between the spring and the late summer. He wanted to know about the atmosphere in England, whether the club would suit him, and also about life in Manchester. He wanted to know a little about the social life over here. I told Zlatan that Manchester United would fit him perfectly. The personality that Zlatan has is just like when Cantona was there. Manchester United have lacked this kind of representation with the fans in recent years."

Olsson added that he can't wait to play against Ibrahimovic: "I'll be honest. I wanted him to come here. It raises the status of the league even more and it is fun for me personally to play against him. This is still a big step for Zlatan. He has a great career behind him. He is almost 35 now, but he has a few years left in his career before it is finished and he wants to be remembered for what he does at United."
