Orban's brace secures Lyon's dramatic comeback win

Nigerian striker Gift Orban scored a second-half double to lead Lyon to a stunning 4-3 comeback win against Strasbourg in the French league. Lyon's victory on Friday was their first of the season after two successive defeats, and it was a particularly impressive performance from replacement Orban.

He struggled in his first six months at Lyon, scoring only once in 17 league games. However, he increased his score in a remarkable second-half comeback in front of his home fans at Groupama Stadium. First Sebastian Nanasi’s goal gave Strasbourg a good start but Lyon’s Corentin Tolisso leveled seconds before halftime. The hosts fell again early in the second half, with Andrey Santos and Emanuel Emegha scoring within 13 minutes of the restart. After an hour, English defender Ainsley Maitland-Niles gave Lyon hope, and Orban followed with two goals in nine minutes, the second a superbly placed header to hand Lyon a 4-3 win.
