Osasuna defeated Granada with two goals from Budimir

Just 11 minutes into the match, Ante Budimir scored the opening goal with a left-footed strike. Fourteen minutes into the second half, he increased the advantage with a penalty kick. Israeli striker Shon Weissman did not go with the club due to security fears, therefore Granada was without him.

Granada’s day worsened when after a video review, Lucas Boye of Granada was given a straight red card with 14 minutes remaining. Raul Garcia's late third goal for Osasuna was rejected by VAR which caused an uproar in the crowd. Osasuna moved up to ninth place in the Spanish league as a consequence of the outcome. Meanwhile, Granada had only one victory in ten games, which keeps them in second place from the bottom. On October 29, Osasuna will go to Real Betis, while Granada will play Villarreal at home the following day.
