Osasuna’s almost perfect form moves them second on La Liga table

Osasuna drew up 1-1 against Granada as the team moved second on the La Liga table overnight with just one point from the match. The Navarran side posted great results in the previous weeks as they extended their unbeaten run to four games in league action. Both the sides kept each other at bay in the first 45 minutes as they struggled to create chances but a stoppage-time finish by Chimy Avila put the host ahead with a close-range shot.

Thereafter the match restarted and Osasuna was hoping to extend their home advantage as Roberto Torres and Ruben Rochina both had almost netted the second goal for the side but Cote’s late red card, handed Granada an equalizer as Angel Montoro leveled the score by scoring into an empty net.
