Oscar is delighted with Conte's new tactics

During the first day of practice for Chelsea FC, many players were quite impressed by the hard work manager Antonio Conte put them to practice from the very start. Putting them to work right after he arrived before being presented as the manager had a huge impact on every single player, they know now that Conte has come here to transform this team into a different mentality that will surely bring only benefits to the whole institution. One of the most surprised players is Brazilian Oscar, who talked about his vacation and what he expects from the new coach.

He told the Chelsea website that: "My summer was really nice, I stayed in Brazil with my family and we did a lot of traveling within the country so it was very enjoyable. I watched a lot of football during my time off. I saw the Copa America, Euros and some Brazilian matches. I was impressed with Antonio Conte’s Italy at the Euros, they played very well and were unlucky to lose on penalties to a good Germany team. I missed playing and I’m glad to be back. We are all training really hard and looking forward to the pre-season matches.

"Training has been very hard because it was a long break for me. But that’s what pre-season is all about, getting fit for the matches. I really liked the first training session and I think the team are really going to improve a lot this season. He’s very clear about what he wants from us. He spoke to everyone and it was very tactical with some good movements from the players."
