Oscar Mingueza might not be registered as first team player

Barcelona’s lack of funds has tied their hands and is costing them much more than their glaring debt- talent. The Spanish giants might not be able to register central defender Oscar Mingueza in the first team as they is a shortage of space on the squad. Barcelona is bound by La Liga’s regulation that only numbers 1 to 25 can be used to register as first-team members.

Blaugrana already has registered 23 players in the first team while No. 10 is left vacant after Messi’s departure and No.25 is for goalkeepers. The youngster would have to be registered on the B team instead and would then to called upon to play in the top flight Spanish league. Barcelona only has till the end of August to register him, and if he moves to team B he would have to will till January to be promoted to the first team.
