Ozil completes move to Istanbul Basaksehir

Mesut Ozil has got a new club. After putting an end to his time at Fenerbahce, the German midfielder has joined another club in the Turkish league, Istanbul Basaksehir. As the Turkish club announced via their official channels, the 33 year-old player has signed a contract until 30th June 2023, in other words, for next season, with the option of signing for another year.
Goksel Gumusday, the club's president, was with Ozil when he signed his Istanbul Baseksehir contract and during his official presentation to the media.
In an official statement published on their website, the Turkish club welcomed Ozil and wished him all the success in the world at the club.
