Crystal Palace improved its attacking game this season with the addition of more fireworks like Michy Batshuayi and Ebere Eze. Last season palace put on a weak front, ended up being the second lowest scorers in the English premier league with just 31 goals.

The Eagles have signed on Eze from Queens Park Rangers and forward player Batshuayi is on loan from Chelsea. Hodgsons team seems just about ready before meeting Southampton in the field. They will support Jordan Ayew and Wilfried Zaha the club’s top scorers, though the absence of important players like, Christian Benteke, Connor Wickham, Gary Cahill, James Tomkins, Mamadou Sakho and Patrick Van Aanholt will hurt the team in the upcoming game.

Hudgson still believes the squad will do well in the game.
