Paris St Germain beat 10-man Nice 2-1

In Ligue 1, Paris St. Germain defeated 10-man Nice 2-1 on the road on Wednesday, eliminating any possibility of the hosts finishing in the top four. PSG, who have already claimed the championship and are preparing for the Coupe de France final on May 25, have 73 points, while Nice are fifth on 54 points. They are four points behind fourth-place Brest with one game left, meaning they will not be able to advance to the Champions League.

For Luis Enrique's team, Bradley Barcola scored the first goal in the eighteenth minute, and Yoram Zague added another five minutes later. Mohamed-Ali Cho of Nice, who was sent through by Jeremie Boga, managed to score before halftime. Nevertheless, Melvin Bard's dismissal for a foul on Barcola in the 75th minute dashed their chances of a late equalizer.
