Parma is officially relegated from Serie A

Torino took down Parma in the recent Serie A fixture, leaving them  19th on the table with just 20 points and 17th-placed Cagliari, is now 12 points ahead of them and Parma has four matches left in the season but Cagliari would still win on goal difference even if they won the last four matches as well. The stakes were high for Parma heading into the match but still, they could not force a win and escape the bottom three.

Visitors were desperate for a win and shot 10 times and hit the target just once. Mergim Vojvoda hit the goal later at 63 minutes. Since Parma’s rebirth after the bankruptcy, they have been relegated for the first time since 2015. Before Parma, Crotone’s fate has already been sealed and just one more place is left undecided.
