Florentino Perez has ignited the transfer market with a dramatic revelation on Horizonte Cuatro, announcing plans for a bid exceeding €150 million next Tuesday. With Real Madrid’s presidential elections imminent, he has promised a signing capable of matching the legacy of Cristiano Ronaldo, Figo and Zidane. Reports suggest renewed ties with super‑agent Jorge Mendes, placing PSG duo Vitinha and João Neves at the centre of speculation. Both midfielders have driven the French champions to consecutive Champions League titles and remain under contract until 2029, making any pursuit extraordinarily difficult.

PSG’s financial strength and growing status as a dominant European force further complicate negotiations. Yet Perez has built his reputation on achieving the improbable, even as whispers persist that Michael Olise could still be the mystery target. Madrid have spent two seasons searching for a world‑class midfielder, and Perez’s declaration signals an intent to deliver a transformative signing.
