Petr Cech sees Arsenal as a title contender

Considering that by now in previous seasons, Arsenal already had more than 3 or 4 players benched due to injuries, things are looking up for the Gunners this time. They may have lost the lead after Liverpool's victory, but the Gunners are looking stronger than before and they have the players to bring the house down in the Premier League if they wanted to. Czech goalkeeper Petr Cech is a witness of this, he has been watching this development first-hand.

About dropping points last week, Cech told the press that: "We dropped points because we couldn't rotate. This season we have strength in depth, you could see in the Champions League and domestic cup [games] and for the Premier League we keep using different players or can use the same players. The manager has this choice and I think we are benefitting so far. Everybody looks fit and ready to go game-by-game.

"I think we are as strong as anybody else in the league. The league is very competitive but I think we are one of the teams who has all the qualities to compete for the title and we know that."
