Pisa and Lazio 0-0 draw

On a rainy night in Tuscany, Pisa and Lazio had to split the points since both teams had excellent chances and had to make difficult saves. Both clubs had just finished winning games; the Aquile had defeated Juventus, and the hosts had led Milan before giving up a late equaliser for 2-2 at San Siro. Without Raul Albiol, Calvin Stengs, Mateus Lusuardi, and Tomas Esteves, Pisa was still searching for their first victory of the year. With Elseid Hysaj, Nuno Tavares, Matteo Cancellieri, Taty Castellanos, Samuel Gigot, Nicolò Rovella, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru sidelined, Lazio's injury list remained long.

Matteo Tramoni failed to make the most of an early opportunity, scuffing well wide from the edge of the area on the M’Bala Nzola lay-off. Toma Basic saw his angled drive smothered, but Pisa came close again when Idrissa Touré volleyed across the face of goal at the back post on a Juan Cuadrado cross.
