Last summer, French playmaker Paul Pogba was believed to be leaving the club towards FC Barcelona, but he decided to stay one more year by advice from his agent Mino Raiola. Now that a year has almost passed, Pogba has managed to become one of the best players in the world and has stayed strong with Juventus opting for all the trophies they play and become their best player without a doubt. Things have changed a lot for him, this might be enough reason for him not to move from where he is.
Sporting director Giuseppe Marotta spoke to the press about the alleged interest from other teams but his message was pretty clear. Regardless of the offers that come for the player, Juventus have no intentions of letting their most priced player go. So the alleged bid war that was coming this summer for Paul Pogba is actually not going to have any effect on either the player or the club. His contract expires on 2019 and Juventus plans to keep him until then and maybe even extend siad contract.
"Pogba is a Juventus player and still has an ongoing contract with us. Plus he has also told us about his intention to stay with us. All the conditions are there for him to continue with Juventus for the upcoming years. The Juventus jersey is something you honor right until the end. It is not a foregone conclusion yet that he will stay at Juventus, because nothing is ever guaranteed in football, but it is highly likely that he will stay put."
