In less than eight tumultuous minutes, West Ham once again managed to steal a loss from the mouths of victory, staying true to their usual style. The Hammers and Potters have fallen into 17th place, barely above the relegation zone, rather than escaping danger. Although there were moments of vigor and aggressive desire, Potter is now firmly in the limelight and has lost seven straight games. Brighton stole a 3-2 win out from under West Ham with two late goals from Kaoru Mitoma in the 89th minute and a stoppage-time goal from Carlos Noom Quomah Baleba.

The Irons manager is now under pressure and is running out of time and patience at The London Stadium. Numerous people discuss his tenure at Brighton and how he needs time to gradually mold a team into his vision.
